Self Contained Apartments 
Opened in October 2006, The Southbank Serviced Apartments are located in McIlwraith Street, South Townsville. McIlwraith Street is located directly behind Palmer Street - a short 200 metre stroll from Hotel Reception.
Check in and check out for the apartments is at Rydges Southbank Reception which is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Nightly, weekly (7 days and over) and monthly (28 days and over) rates are available.
The apartments are furnished with bright, contemporary decor and every apartment includes the following:
- Spacious open plan design and fully air conditioned with split systems
- Two generous sized bedrooms
- Master bedroom has an ensuite with corner spa bath and dual basins
- Second bathroom with shower and separate toilet
- Large balcony to every apartment
- Fully self contained with oven, hotplates, full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher
- Washing machine and dryer in each apartment
- Television and DVD player in lounge room and second television in master bedroom
- Carparking on site
- Swimming pool on site
- Elevator access to all floors
- Charge back facilities from the Southbank Grill located on the ground floor of the Rydges Southbank
The following bedding configurations are available:
- One Queen bed in master bedroom and one queen bed in second bedroom (6)
- One Queen bed in master bedroom and two single beds in second bedroom (6)
